From the 25th May 2018, new regulations were introduced which affect how all Schools handle people’s data. This is called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Under this legislation there are some key data protection principles and rights of data subjects. The key rights of this legislation are indicated below:

  • Right of access.
  • Right to rectification of factually inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure/right to be forgotten.
  • Right to restrict processing.
  • Right to object.
  • Right to portability.

Compliance with the regulations will be an ongoing process and the school has a ‘Data Protection Officer’ (DPO) to advise and manage compliance with the regulation. Full details of our DPO can be found below, should you have any questions.

Below you will find published policies, procedures and notices that are compliant with the new regulations which will keep you informed of any developments.  Your child’s data will be handled in the same manner, in accordance with legal principles.
