Learning Support Assistant KS1 and KS2

Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant

Contract:Fixed Term until 31 August 2018, term time only
Salary Type:Grade A
Salary Details:£15,267 pro rata
Hours of Work:1.5 hours a week (half an hour 3 days a week)

Work hours will be 0845-1530 daily.

Job/Person Summary:

We are looking for a member of staff who is flexible and can work in both KS1 and KS2 alongside our experienced and enthusiastic staff. 15 hours as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and also 14.75 hours Learning Support Assistant and able to work as a Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant half an hour three days a week.

You will need to:

  • Have recent and relevant experience of working in a school
  • Demonstrate the ability to use observations to assess learning and determine next steps
  • Be able to develop children’s learning based on their own interests and starting points
  • Be enthusiastic and dynamic
  • Have a high level of commitment
  • Have a warm and caring personality
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable
  • Have relevant HLTA qualification
