Job/Person Summary:

Are you excited by making a difference to children? We are looking to appoint an outstanding primary practitioner in KS2 who is an enthusiastic teacher and shows drive and commitment.

We are looking for someone:

  • Who has experience of teaching at the top end of KS2
  • Able to challenge and motivate staff and pupils
  • Committed to accelerating pupil progress for all children
  • Able to continue to improve standards and drive progress

Teaching Assistant Details

Contract:Fixed Term until 31 August 2019, term time only
Salary Type:Grade C
Salary Details:£16,209-£17,955 pro rata
Hours of Work:30 hours per week, 8.45am - 4pm

Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant Details

Contract:Fixed Term until 31 August 2019, term time only
Salary Type:Grade A
Salary Details:£15,267 pro rata
Hours of Work:5 hours a week

Job/Person Summary:

We are looking for a teaching assistant to work alongside experienced and enthusiastic teaching staff and also to work as Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant each day.

You will need to:

  • Have recent and relevant experience of working in a school
  • Experience of working in Early Years is preferable
  • Knowledge of additional needs
  • Have a sound understanding of how young children learn
  • Demonstrate the ability to use observations to assess learning and determine next steps
  • Be able to develop children's learning based on their own interests and starting points
  • Be enthusiastic and dynamic
  • Have a high level of commitment
  • Have a warm and caring personality
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be flexible and adaptable
